Hues

Blue, I adorned the wings of wax
Flying I was, but the wings melted away
I tried and tried so hard to clear the mist
then learnt to discover freedom

White, I was singing my favorite tune
when I was raped by the rainbow
I tried and tried so hard to fade
then learnt to like the hues

Red, I blushed and stopped...
was trapped in vicious circles
I tried and tried so hard
to rule the vengeance of a trapped muse

Walking along a mystical lane,
I shuddered in the echoes
of silence creaking under my steps
learning to brave the charade,
Black, I now move on...

A Poem

The word-plays full of mystery

In my agony your poem shines

Every question yielded poetry

Meanings lost in the twisted lines

A piece of your creation I was

You molded me any which way

Was I an effect or a cause

of your love I can’t say

What am I but a poem to you!

The upspring of nascent thoughts

had stirred the waves in a dull stream

The first touch, forced though it was

Remains my eternal dream

You play back the incidents

Dressing them up with rhythm

Mistakes, shadows and accidents

But love, you called it seldom

What am I but a poem to you!

Some random thoughts

Some Glistening shadows

Some sweet accidents

Some frozen bubbles

What am I but a poem to you!

Train To Paradise

Dark clouds, gloomy days

Paddy fields, muddy ways

Shivering winds, shades of green

Mud patches, cattle in between

Dry huts, tall towers

One odd cow, land-covers

Crooked curves, steel lines

Trails of smoke, shining lights

Skewed sky, departing trees

Jaded giants, shaded seas

Sparkling diamonds, velvet blues

Distant roads, sliding scenes

Mud houses, cotton cities

Colourful boats, busy streets

As I try to reach, all running away

Saying, ‘Go! You are not here to stay…’

I am a Power Pfaff Girl!!

A lot has been said and written about it..and a lot has been said and written using it!!
It is perhaps bringing a revolution in the field of communication and it is absolutely necessary if you are writing an economics assignment which you have no clue of..
Yes, I am talking about the great art of Pfaffing.
For the benefit of the ignorant souls who are not familiar with the word, 'Pfaffing' means to say something in such an arbit and abstract manner, that the whole subject in question takes a back seat and is lost amidst the words that are used..
These words keep echoing in the minds of the listeners..trying to find a meaning for themselves. The words which nobody other than an abstract poet would think of linking for a totally different reason though..while the poet does it for the lyrical effect and hidden meanings, a pfaffer does it to confuse the listener and hide the meaning!!

Anyway, as I was saying, the words struggle to find a meaning for themselves wondering
how could we have been connected at all?
how could we all be used in one sentence..and in one context??

Do you see that I am trying to do just the same?

By the way, I had to submit this economics paper today..stayed up the whole night to get some quality content..managed to do 20% of it in 15 hours. Now I had 10 hours to finish the damn thing and I had to cover the remaining 80 % of it.
Therefore, I turned towards the path of pfaffing for rescue and what it did was let me fill up all those countless papers and finish it before the deadline..it might be a surprise that you can pfaff in a subject as academic and rigid as economics, but as i said..words do it for you!

Pfaffing is a skill and it needs to be honed with rigorous practice.

I am an amateur at it..as you can clearly see from the quality of my posts..I have seen better..but I am getting better.

so lets get our act together for some power pfaffing!!
